Who Can Be Held Liable After A Trucking Accident?
Legal contributor Attorney Brian Mickelsen, an experienced truck accident lawyer, represents victims injured or killed in semi-truck accidents. Below, Attorney Mickelsen shared his insight into the legal options available to victims injured in commercial truck accidents.
“Accidents happen every day on our roads. It is something professional drivers – like truck drivers – should expect. It is imperative for truck drivers to always keep a lookout for accidents, stalled or disabled vehicles, and crashes ahead of them.”
What Should I Do When I Or A Loved One Have Been Involved In A Trucking Accident?
“When such an accident occurs, it is critically important that key evidence is not lost or destroyed. This includes witness testimony, dash and body cam footage from responding officers, dashcam video from the truck involved, electronic black box data from all vehicles involved, vehicle inspections from the at-fault truck, and hours of service logs from the at-fault truck driver, toxicology reports, etc.”
